Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Sports

As an artist and independent creative, I am committed to continuous learning and education, allowing my projects to reflect the diverse experiences and perspectives that shape our world. Sports and movement have profoundly impacted my mental health and overall quality of life, and I am passionate about sharing these benefits with others in my community.

Representation matters. Seeing diverse individuals in sports media can inspire a sense of possibility: "If they can do it, so can I." Noticing a lack of diversity in sports around me, I felt compelled to drive change. Too often, diverse representation is limited to high levels or minor roles in commercials, which fails to provide a platform for diverse stories and dreams.

Pride HUB

In collaboration with The Good Run and hired by the Kompagnon Agency, I co-organized the sports program for the Netflix Pride Hub. My responsibilities included curation, leading the community run, participating as a speaker, and engaging with attendees in panel discussions
